Presenter Overview
Ken Sinclair is the owner and editor of AutomatedBuildings.com, an online magazine and web resource providing the news as well as connection to the rapidly evolving industry that automates and implement truly intelligent, integrated buildings.

In July of this year we start our 10th year of being online as AutomatedBuildings.com, a B2B magazine for the large building automation industry. As building automation moves from the boiler rooms and communication closets to the main stream, radical changes in thought are required by our industry. We are please to help with the communication of this change.

I have authored numerous industry articles on internet integration and convergence for several international magazines and have provided four free automation seminars at each AHRExpo for the last 9 years.

We are extremely proud of the over one thousands industry articles which we have published on our website. All these articles and interviews, which originally seemed a little like future watch, have become the new reality shaping our industry. All information on our web site is free to anyone and can be searched by our own search engine or a google search pointed just at our web site.

We were very pleased to be honoured with the Vision award at BuilConn 2005, in Dallas. This award chosen by more than 400 of our peers was given to us as the folks who best support the vision of networked building systems.

When we started our online magazine we did not know that the Internet would have such a profound effect on all our lives.

Prior to AutomatedBuildings.com, for over 30 years we owned and operated Sinclair Energy Services Ltd., a consulting firm providing energy conservation programs and control system design and project management for all levels of government, universities and hospitals.
